WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)는 세계청년리더총연맹(WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS, WFPL)이 2017년 1월 연구개발에 착수한 이후 약 10년에 걸친 연구와 검토를 거쳐 2025년 11월 1일 최종 확정되었다.

The WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS (WFPL) initiated research and development of the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) in January 2017. Following nearly a decade of research and review, the WFSRI was finalized on November 1, 2025.

Establishment of SEC Evaluation-Related Regulations and First Publication of the WFSRI White Paper

SEC는 책임경영 평가의 체계적인 운영을 위한 관련 평가 규정을 제정하고, WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)의 개념과 평가철학, SEC 평가방법론 및 평가체계 등을 설명하는 「WF책임경영지수(WFSRI) 백서」 초판을 발행하였다.

SEC established relevant evaluation regulations for the systematic operation of Responsible Management evaluation and published the first edition of the “White Paper on the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI),” presenting the concept and Evaluation Philosophy of the WFSRI, together with the SEC Evaluation Methodology and Evaluation Framework.

SEC는 세계청년리더총연맹(WFPL)이 확립한 WFSRI 연구성과를 토대로 수립·운영하는 SEC 평가방법론(SEC Evaluation Methodology), SEC 평가체계(SEC Evaluation Framework), SEC 평가지표 체계(SEC Indicator System) 및 관련 평가기준(Evaluation Criteria)을 기반으로 기업·공공기관의 책임경영과 지속가능성 및 미래 경쟁력을 체계적으로 평가하기 위한 평가운영체계를 마련하고, 2026년 1월 1일 「제1회 SEC 기업·공공기관 ESG·WFSRI 평가」를 공식 공고·시행하였다.

Building on the WFSRI research outcomes established by the WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS (WFPL), SEC established an evaluation operating structure based on the SEC Evaluation Methodology, SEC Evaluation Framework, SEC Indicator System, and applicable Evaluation Criteria to systematically evaluate the Responsible Management, Sustainability, and Future Competitiveness of corporations and public institutions, and officially announced and launched the “1st SEC ESG·WFSRI Evaluation for Corporations and Public Institutions” on January 1, 2026.

This White Paper is an official publication issued and maintained by SEC Co., Ltd.

본 백서는 SEC 평가방법론(SEC Evaluation Methodology), SEC 평가체계(SEC Evaluation Framework), SEC 평가지표 체계(SEC Indicator System), WF책임경영지수(WF Sustainable Responsibility Index, WFSRI), SEC WFSRI Rating 및 SEC WFSRI Certification에 관한 지속적인 연구와 발전, 국내외 책임경영 관련 연구·기준과 논의 및 평가·운영환경의 변화 등을 반영하기 위하여 지속적으로 검토하며, 필요한 경우 정해진 절차에 따라 개정할 수 있다.

This White Paper is subject to continuing review and may be revised, where necessary, in accordance with established procedures to reflect continuing research and development concerning the SEC Evaluation Methodology, SEC Evaluation Framework, SEC Indicator System, WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI), SEC WFSRI Rating, and SEC WFSRI Certification, as well as developments in domestic and international research, standards, and discussions concerning Responsible Management and changes in evaluation and operating environments.

본 백서의 개정은 평가의 독립성(Independence), 공정성(Fairness), 객관성(Objectivity), 전문성(Professionalism), 투명성(Transparency), 신뢰성(Reliability)을 유지하면서 충분한 연구와 검토를 바탕으로 정해진 절차에 따라 이루어진다.

Revisions to this White Paper are made in accordance with established procedures on the basis of sufficient research and review while maintaining the Independence, Fairness, Objectivity, Professionalism, Transparency, and Reliability of evaluation.

개정판이 공식 발행된 경우 해당 개정판을 발행일부터 본 백서의 공식 개정본으로 적용한다.

Once a revised edition is officially published, that edition constitutes the official revised version of this White Paper from its publication date.

환경보호와 지속가능한 문서관리 정책을 실천하기 위하여 본 백서는 별도의 종이 인쇄본을 제작하지 않고 전자문서(Electronic Publication) 형태로 발행한다.

To support environmental protection and sustainable document management, this White Paper is published electronically without a separate printed edition.

주식회사 에스이씨평가원(SEC Co., Ltd.)이 공식적으로 발행한 최신 개정판을 본 백서의 공식본(Authoritative Version)으로 한다.

The latest revised edition officially published by SEC Co., Ltd. constitutes the Authoritative Version of this White Paper.

본 백서에 수록된 SEC 평가방법론, SEC 평가체계, SEC 평가지표 체계 및 SEC가 작성·구성·관리하는 관련 설명·도표·문안과 자료 등은 관련 법령에 따라 보호된다.

The SEC Evaluation Methodology, SEC Evaluation Framework, SEC Indicator System, and related explanations, diagrams, texts, and materials prepared, organized, or managed by SEC and contained in this White Paper are protected in accordance with applicable laws.

Content from this White Paper may be cited in a manner permitted by applicable laws, provided that the source is clearly identified. It must not be reproduced, modified, or distributed without authorization or used in a manner that could create the false impression of an official SEC evaluation result, Rating, or certification.

159개 세부평가지표와 그 가운데 선정된 50개 SEC 핵심가치지표(CVIs)를 포함한 세부 평가정보 및 구체적인 평가기법의 공개범위는 본 백서에서 정한 공개원칙과 SEC의 관련 운영기준에 따른다.

The scope of disclosure for detailed evaluation information, including the 159 Detailed Evaluation Indicators and the 50 SEC Core Value Indicators (CVIs) selected from among them, as well as specific evaluation techniques, is governed by the disclosure principles set forth in this White Paper and SEC’s applicable operating standards.
