SEC 핵심가치지표(Core Value Indicators, CVIs)는 책임경영의 핵심가치와 주요 평가요소가 평가결과에 실질적으로 반영될 수 있도록 159개 세부평가지표 가운데 선정된 50개의 핵심지표이다.

The SEC Core Value Indicators (CVIs) are 50 core indicators selected from among the 159 Detailed Evaluation Indicators to ensure that the core values and principal elements of Responsible Management are meaningfully reflected in evaluation results.

50개 SEC 핵심가치지표(CVIs)는 159개 세부평가지표와 별도로 구성되는 추가지표가 아니며, SEC 평가체계 안에서 전체 세부평가지표와 유기적으로 연계되어 적용된다.

The 50 SEC Core Value Indicators (CVIs) are not additional indicators separate from the 159 Detailed Evaluation Indicators. They are applied within the SEC Evaluation Framework in an integrated relationship with the overall Detailed Evaluation Indicator system.

Ⅰ. 핵심가치지표의 목적

I. Purpose of the Core Value Indicators

SEC 핵심가치지표(CVIs)는 조직의 책임경영을 평가하는 과정에서 책임경영의 핵심가치와 주요 평가요소를 보다 체계적으로 반영하기 위한 지표이다.

The SEC Core Value Indicators (CVIs) are designed to systematically reflect the core values and principal evaluation elements of Responsible Management in the evaluation process.

SEC는 기업·공공기관 및 기타 조직의 책임경영을 다양한 영역에서 종합적으로 평가하면서 조직의 책임과 영향, 지속가능성 및 미래 대응과 관련된 핵심적인 평가요소가 평가결과에 실질적으로 반영될 수 있도록 CVI를 적용한다.

SEC comprehensively evaluates the Responsible Management of corporations, public institutions, and other organizations across diverse areas while applying the CVIs to ensure that key evaluation elements relating to organizational responsibility and impact, Sustainability, and Future Readiness are meaningfully reflected in evaluation results.

Ⅱ. 159개 세부평가지표와의 관계

II. Relationship with the 159 Detailed Evaluation Indicators

SEC 평가체계는 159개 세부평가지표 전체를 기반으로 평가하며, 50개 SEC 핵심가치지표(CVIs)는 이 가운데 선정된 핵심지표로서 전체 평가체계 안에서 적용된다.

The SEC Evaluation Framework is based on all 159 Detailed Evaluation Indicators, while the 50 SEC Core Value Indicators (CVIs) are selected core indicators applied within the overall evaluation system.

따라서 SEC 평가체계는 159개 세부평가지표에 50개 CVI를 별도로 더하여 209개의 지표로 구성되는 체계가 아니다.

Accordingly, the SEC Evaluation Framework does not consist of 209 indicators created by adding 50 CVIs separately to the 159 Detailed Evaluation Indicators.

또한 CVI로 선정되지 않은 세부평가지표 역시 각 평가목적과 기능에 따라 SEC 평가체계를 구성하는 중요한 평가단위이며, CVI 지정 여부만으로 개별 세부평가지표의 중요성을 일률적으로 판단하지 않는다.

Detailed Evaluation Indicators that are not designated as CVIs also constitute important evaluation units within the SEC Evaluation Framework according to their respective purposes and functions. The importance of an individual Detailed Evaluation Indicator is not determined solely by whether it is designated as a CVI.

Ⅲ. 평가에서의 적용

III. Application in Evaluation

SEC 핵심가치지표(CVIs)는 별도의 독립적인 평가가 아니라 159개 세부평가지표를 기반으로 하는 전체 평가과정의 일부로 적용한다.

The SEC Core Value Indicators (CVIs) are applied as part of the overall evaluation process based on the 159 Detailed Evaluation Indicators rather than as a separate independent evaluation.

SEC는 평가대상의 유형·규모·기능·사업특성·운영환경과 해당 지표의 실질적 관련성 및 적용가능성을 고려하면서, SEC 평가방법론에 따라 CVI를 평가에 적용한다.

SEC applies the CVIs in accordance with the SEC Evaluation Methodology while considering the type, scale, functions, operational characteristics, and operating environment of the evaluation subject, as well as the substantive relevance and applicability of the relevant indicator.

CVI에 대한 평가 역시 객관적으로 확인 가능한 자료와 근거를 바탕으로 이루어지며, 정량정보와 정성정보 및 실제 운영과 이행, 성과와 영향 등을 종합적으로 검토한다.

Evaluation of the CVIs is also based on objectively verifiable materials and evidence and includes a comprehensive review of quantitative and qualitative information, actual operations and implementation, performance, and impacts.

Ⅳ. 평가결과와의 연계

IV. Linkage with Evaluation Results

SEC 핵심가치지표(CVIs)는 책임경영의 핵심가치와 주요 평가요소가 전체 평가결과에 실질적으로 반영될 수 있도록 SEC 평가방법론에 따라 평가에 적용한다.

The SEC Core Value Indicators (CVIs) are applied in accordance with the SEC Evaluation Methodology to ensure that the core values and principal evaluation elements of Responsible Management are meaningfully reflected in the overall evaluation results.

평가결과는 CVI만을 별도로 평가하거나 합산하여 산출하는 것이 아니라 159개 세부평가지표에 대한 전체 평가결과를 종합하여 도출한다.

Evaluation results are not derived by separately evaluating or aggregating the CVIs alone but through the integration of evaluation results across all 159 Detailed Evaluation Indicators.

50개 CVI가 전체 159개 세부평가지표에서 차지하는 지표 수의 비율은 평가점수의 배점이나 가중치 비율을 의미하지 않는다.

The numerical proportion of the 50 CVIs within the 159 Detailed Evaluation Indicators does not represent their proportion of evaluation scores, point allocations, or weights.

Ⅴ. 핵심가치지표의 공개와 관리

V. Disclosure and Management of the Core Value Indicators

SEC는 평가체계에 대한 이해와 투명성을 높이기 위하여 159개 세부평가지표 가운데 50개 SEC 핵심가치지표(CVIs)가 포함되어 있다는 기본구조와 그 역할을 공개한다.

SEC discloses the fundamental structure and role of the 50 SEC Core Value Indicators (CVIs) included within the 159 Detailed Evaluation Indicators to promote understanding and Transparency regarding the Evaluation Framework.

다만 개별 핵심가치지표의 구체적인 구성과 선정·적용에 관한 세부사항, 평가기준과 판단기준, 점수·배점 및 가중치, 산출방식, 내부 조정·검증기준 및 기타 구체적인 평가기법은 평가의 독립성·공정성·객관성 및 신뢰성을 확보하기 위하여 비공개를 원칙으로 하며, 평가 수행에 필요한 범위에서 제한적으로 관리·공유한다.

However, details concerning the specific composition, selection, and application of individual Core Value Indicators, Evaluation Criteria and judgment standards, scores and point allocations, weights, calculation methods, internal adjustment and verification standards, and other specific evaluation techniques are, in principle, non-public in order to safeguard the Independence, Fairness, Objectivity, and Reliability of evaluation and are managed and shared on a restricted basis only to the extent necessary for conducting evaluations.
