SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)의 인증절차는 최종 확정된 책임경영 평가결과를 기초로 인증기준 충족 여부를 확인하고, 정해진 절차에 따라 인증 여부를 결정·관리하는 과정이다.

 

The SEC (Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission) Certification Process determines and manages certification status in accordance with established procedures by verifying whether applicable certification criteria are satisfied on the basis of finalized Responsible Management evaluation results.

 

인증절차는 SEC의 평가절차와 구분하여 운영한다. 기업 및 공공기관에 대한 평가결과가 최종 확정된 이후 해당 인증제도의 기준과 요건을 적용하여 인증 여부를 검토한다.

 

The Certification Process is operated separately from the SEC evaluation process. Once evaluation results for a corporation or public institution have been finalized, certification status is reviewed by applying the criteria and requirements of the applicable Certification Program.

 

 

 

Ⅰ. 인증대상 확인

I. Confirmation of Certification Eligibility

 

 

SEC는 최종 평가결과가 확정된 기업 및 공공기관 가운데 해당 인증제도의 대상과 기준에 해당하는 평가대상을 확인한다.

 

SEC identifies evaluated corporations and public institutions whose final evaluation results have been confirmed and that fall within the eligibility criteria of the applicable Certification Program.

 

인증대상 여부는 해당 평가연도의 평가결과와 인증제도에 적용되는 기준 및 요건을 바탕으로 확인한다.

 

Certification eligibility is determined on the basis of evaluation results for the relevant evaluation year and the criteria and requirements applicable to the Certification Program.

 

인증대상과 인증기준에 관한 구체적인 사항은 「인증기준 및 대상」에서 정한다.

 

Specific matters concerning certification eligibility and criteria are established under “Certification Criteria and Eligibility.”

 

 

 

Ⅱ. 인증요건 검토

II. Review of Certification Requirements

 

 

SEC는 인증대상에 대하여 최종 확정된 평가결과와 SEC WFSRI Rating 및 인증에 필요한 관련 요건을 검토한다.

 

SEC reviews the finalized evaluation results, SEC WFSRI Rating, and other applicable certification requirements for each eligible organization.

 

인증요건의 검토는 객관적으로 확인할 수 있는 평가결과와 관련 자료를 바탕으로 실시하며, 인증기준이 일관되게 적용되도록 한다.

 

Certification requirements are reviewed on the basis of objectively verifiable evaluation results and relevant information, with certification criteria applied consistently.

 

인증 여부를 판단하기 위하여 추가적인 사실확인이 필요한 경우에는 관련 자료와 근거를 확인한 후 인증심사에 반영한다.

 

Where additional factual verification is necessary to determine certification status, SEC reviews the relevant data and supporting evidence and reflects the findings in the certification review.

 

 

 

Ⅲ. 인증심사

III. Certification Review

 

 

SEC는 인증대상이 정해진 인증기준과 요건을 충족하는지를 종합적으로 심사한다.

 

SEC comprehensively reviews whether an eligible organization satisfies the established certification criteria and requirements.

 

인증심사에서는 최종 확정된 평가결과와 인증기준의 부합 여부 및 인증결정에 필요한 사항을 검토한다.

 

The certification review examines the alignment between finalized evaluation results and certification criteria, together with other matters necessary for the certification decision.

 

인증심사는 특정한 하나의 평가지표나 개별적인 성과만을 근거로 하지 않으며, 해당 인증제도에 적용되는 기준과 요건을 종합적으로 검토하여 실시한다.

 

Certification review is not based solely on any single evaluation indicator or individual performance measure but on comprehensive consideration of the criteria and requirements applicable to the Certification Program.

 

 

 

Ⅳ. 인증결정

IV. Certification Decision

 

 

SEC는 인증심사 결과를 바탕으로 정해진 절차에 따라 인증 여부를 결정한다.

 

SEC determines certification status in accordance with established procedures based on the results of the certification review.

 

인증기준과 관련 요건을 충족한 것으로 확인된 경우에는 해당 기업 또는 공공기관에 인증을 부여한다.

 

Where the certification criteria and applicable requirements are confirmed to have been satisfied, certification is granted to the relevant corporation or public institution.

 

인증기준을 충족하지 못하거나 인증 여부를 확정하기 위한 요건이 충족되지 않은 경우에는 인증을 부여하지 않는다.

 

Certification is not granted where the certification criteria are not satisfied or where the requirements necessary to finalize the certification decision have not been met.

 

 

 

Ⅴ. 인증의 부여

V. Granting of Certification

 

 

인증이 확정된 기업 및 공공기관에는 해당 인증제도의 운영기준에 따라 인증사실을 확인할 수 있는 인증서 또는 인증마크 등을 부여할 수 있다.

 

Corporations and public institutions whose certification has been confirmed may be provided with a certificate, Certification Mark, or other means of verifying certification status in accordance with the operational standards of the applicable Certification Program.

 

인증서 또는 인증마크에는 인증대상과 인증내용 및 적용기간 등 인증사실을 확인하는 데 필요한 정보를 표시할 수 있다.

 

A certificate or Certification Mark may include information necessary to verify certification status, including the certified organization, certification details, and applicable period.

 

인증마크의 종류와 의미는 「인증마크」에서 제시하며, 인증마크의 구체적인 사용기준은 「인증마크 사용규정」에 따른다.

 

The types and meaning of Certification Marks are presented under “Certification Marks,” while specific requirements for their use are governed by the “Guidelines for the Use of Certification Marks.”

 

 

 

Ⅵ. 인증정보의 등록·공개

VI. Registration and Disclosure of Certification Information

 

 

SEC는 인증이 확정된 기업 및 공공기관의 인증정보를 공식 인증정보로 등록·관리한다.

 

SEC registers and manages certification information for certified corporations and public institutions as official certification information.

 

인증정보 가운데 공개대상으로 정한 사항은 관련 규정과 공개기준에 따라 공식 홈페이지 등을 통해 공개할 수 있다.

 

Certification information designated for public disclosure may be published through the official website and other appropriate channels in accordance with applicable regulations and disclosure standards.

 

공개된 인증정보는 「인증현황」에서 확인할 수 있도록 관리한다.

 

Publicly disclosed certification information is made available under “Certification Status.”

 

 

 

Ⅶ. 인증의 유지 및 관리

VII. Maintenance and Management of Certification

 

 

부여된 인증은 해당 인증에 적용되는 기간과 운영기준에 따라 관리한다.

 

Granted certification is managed in accordance with the applicable certification period and operational standards.

 

인증기간 중 인증의 유지에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 중대한 사실 또는 인증기준과 관련된 변경사항이 확인된 경우에는 관련 자료와 그 영향을 검토한다.

 

Where a material fact or a change related to the certification criteria that may affect the maintenance of certification is identified during the certification period, SEC reviews the relevant information and its impact.

 

검토결과 인증의 유지·변경·제한 또는 그 밖의 조치가 필요한 경우에는 관련 규정과 정해진 절차에 따라 처리한다.

 

Where the review determines that maintenance, modification, restriction, or another measure concerning certification is necessary, the matter is handled in accordance with applicable regulations and established procedures.

 

 

 

Ⅷ. 인증의 변경·제한 및 취소

VIII. Modification, Restriction, and Withdrawal of Certification

 

 

인증 이후 인증결정의 기초가 된 평가결과가 정해진 절차에 따라 정정·변경되거나 인증의 유지에 중대한 영향을 미치는 사유가 확인된 경우에는 인증상태를 검토한다.

 

Where evaluation results underlying a certification decision are corrected or modified through established procedures after certification, or where a circumstance materially affecting the maintenance of certification is identified, SEC reviews the certification status.

 

검토결과 인증기준 또는 관련 요건을 더 이상 충족하지 못하는 것으로 확인된 경우에는 관련 규정에 따라 인증을 변경·제한하거나 취소할 수 있다.

 

Where the review confirms that certification criteria or applicable requirements are no longer satisfied, SEC may modify, restrict, or withdraw certification in accordance with applicable regulations.

 

인증의 변경·제한 또는 취소가 확정된 경우에는 해당 내용을 공식 인증정보에 반영하고, 필요한 경우 공개된 인증정보와 인증마크 사용에도 이를 반영한다.

 

Where a modification, restriction, or withdrawal of certification is finalized, SEC reflects the change in official certification information and, where necessary, in publicly disclosed certification information and the use of Certification Marks.

 

 

 

Ⅸ. 인증절차의 관리

IX. Management of the Certification Process

 

 

SEC는 인증대상 확인부터 인증심사와 결정 및 사후관리에 이르는 인증절차를 관련 규정과 운영기준에 따라 관리한다.

 

SEC manages the Certification Process, from confirmation of eligibility through certification review, decision, and post-certification management, in accordance with applicable regulations and operational standards.

 

인증절차의 운영과정에서 인증결정에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 이해상충이 확인된 경우에는 필요한 관리조치를 적용하여 인증결정의 독립성과 공정성을 유지한다.

 

Where a conflict of interest that may affect a certification decision is identified during the Certification Process, SEC applies necessary management measures to maintain the independence and fairness of the certification decision.

 

인증결과의 유리한 변경을 조건으로 금전적 또는 기타 경제적 이익을 요구하거나 제공받지 않는다.

 

SEC does not request or receive monetary or other economic benefits in exchange for a favorable change to a certification decision.
